Album Notes

Love Letters is the latest release from Marcos Solá.

It is a collection of Spanish and English standards that feature Latin arrangements by LA-based composer Paul De Castro.

About his new CD, Marcos says, "I carefully chose each song for its beauty in words and the sensuous melodies that those words are set to. My desire is to introduce these songs to a new generation of music lovers."

"When I decided to make Love Letters I listened to a variety of artists -- Placido Domingo, Mark Anthony, Neil Diamond, Ricky Martin and several others. Each of them sparked new ideas in me and fueled the momentum to keep going."

Love Letters has already been played on several stations in the US and Puerto Rico, including Radio Bilingue, KAAT Radio and Star 101 of Fresno and Radio Independente in San Juan.

Marcos Solá is a native of Los Angeles. In addition to the release of Love Letters, the young artist has an impressive repertoire of operatic roles to his credit. Prior to his move into opera, Marcos sang in Psycho Ballet, an LA-based rock group. Last year he moved to New York where he is quickly gaining recognition for his vocal talents.
