If you've come looking for the singer/songwriter Marc Silver, you are in the right place... do not fear!
The Marc Silver Project, is a collection of instrumental compositions composed in my final year of guitar studies at The University of The Arts. At that time my world was deeply influenced by artists like Bill Frisell, Wayne Krantz, Jim Hall, Pat Metheny, Joe Pass, Oliver Nelson. I was (and still am) into the music of Mr. Bungle, Tool, Radiohead, and many other varieties of music. My favorite tracks on this CD are Fickle and Love is a Four Letter Word, with Circle and Relentless coming in 3rd & 4th. This music ranges from guitar trio to sextet featuring trumpet, saxophone, bass guitar, piano & keyboards, drums and guitar.
This CD was a home burned CD with stuck on labels ( I was a starving musician... no way to go through the proper channels ). It is now only available for download at this time and forever more.

New Edge Funky Jazz Fusion With Awesome Harmonic Compositions

Marc has really come into full light with this recording. Listening to the funky, off beat syncopations of Blabber Matter and the dreamy melody of Circle, I was able to understand and appreciate the depth of Marc's compositions.
At times combining a raw, distortion guitar over an upbeat horn section shows the diversity of these instrumental pieces. Circle is really a unique tune which plays on the subtle nature of Marc's guitar and intertwines the melodies in very tasteful form.
The album is a must have as everyone at the publication is very anxious to hear the next release from the Marc Silver Project.
