The new CD ORIK is the result of the Marc Demuth Quartet working and performing with the portuguese singer Sofia Ribeiro.
After three years of intensive performing and touring in clubs and festivals all over Europe, the Marc Demuth Quartet feat. Sofia Ribeiro records its first CD live at the Luxembourg-based jazz club L’Inoui.
The repertoire of this record reflects the history of the band including personal arrangements of some brazilian standards as well as own compositions by Sofia Ribeiro and Marc Demuth.
