Marc Vee is a guitarist/composer who grew up in Miami Florida. Marc studied music at The University of Miami School of Music and his latest album is titled "Inspiration". If you enjoy contemporary jazz guitar, you will most likely find alot to like about this collection of twelve instrumental songs. Marc Vee is equally capable on the spanish guitar and the electric jazz guitar. Europa (earth's cry heaven's smile) features Marc Vee's nylon string lead guitar improvization on Carlos Santana's legendary song. El condor pasa is a well known song that Simon and Garfunkle added lyrics to back in 1970. Vee's version is closer to Peruvian composer Daniel Alomia Robles' instrumental which was written in 1916. Marc Vee's original compositions are influenced by Steely Dan, Earl Klugh, Wes Mongomery and Antonio Carlos Jobim. This music is designed for listener's who appreciate contemporary jazz and have an affinity for good latin rhythms along with funky pop jazz.
