Album Notes

Marcy was born in "Nawlins", Louisiana and raised on red beans and rice, Mardi Gras and coffee with chickory. She spent most of her skipped school days wandering the French Quarter and her lunch money on powdered sugar covered beignets. Where else on earth can you spend the day looking in the windows of the candy shops and watch black ladies in starched white aprons spoon out liquid heaven that hardens into praline paradise? These songs are a glimpse into my heart and soul. I hope you like what you see. Thanks.
