Joyce Marden is a beautiful, petite woman with a powerful voice who has had success singing country pop/rock, rock, R+B, and classical. Currently she is touring in California and can be heard at different clubs from LA to SF. She not only performs music written by other songwriters but she also helps write many songs. She is also a sculptor who travels to different venues throughout the United States exhibiting her art. When not performing musically somewhere she is busy either creating or showing her sculptures and enjoying life on the central coast of California.
This is the first of two CD's by this talented singer. If it wasn't for more important priorities (like feeding oneself and one's family) she could be making it in Nashville, or any other place where people enjoy good music. For the picky listener this is a great CD. Give it a listen. You won't be disappointed.
Joyce sings songs about strong women, good love, positive values, and paying dues. Women will love her two CD's and/or the men who give it to them. Just 'cause it ain't in the record store doesn't mean it isn't a great buy.
