ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Mardi Gras Mambo is a swingin’ goodtime trio that takes its’ inspiration
from the traditional sounds of New Orleans. The group also has a large
repertoire of Rhythm and Blues, Bebop and novelty songs. In their live
performances the members are flamboyantly attired and reveal a sense
of festivity throughout . Besides playing from the gut, they are also conservatory trained musicians with illustrious careers. Be delighted
by David “Mojo” Poe the group’s woodwind wildman and spiritual
leader, the big fat backbeat of Bill Bailey on bass and the mellow but smokin’ guitar sounds of Gary “GQ” Queen.
