New Blue is Margo Valiante's first full length release containing 8 original songs in an acoustic blues and folk style. Margo was lucky enough to have Brother Mule (Ben Winship, Eric Thorin, and Brian Wicklund) back her up on most of the tracks including Good Morning Heartache, an old Jazz tune played with an acoustic arrangement. Over the span of this project, Margo has been playing in her hometown of Jackson, WY as well as touring the east coast twice in 2007. She graced the stage of NYC's Bitter End, Cambridge's Club Passim and opened for artists like: Ari Hest, James McMurtry, The Subdudes and Dar Williams, to name a few. Margo received Honorable Mention from the 2007 Telluride Troubadour Competition for her songs "Mama Don't Know" and "Miriam".
