I bought this CD in August 2003, after Maria's performance at The Embers in Portland. I already had a great deal of respect for her music, but I was not prepared for the raw passion and power in these songs. Breathe & Slow Burn are obvious standout tracks, but this CD is a must-have even without those 2 songs. Erica, Set You Free, and especially Lullaby are moving and very powerful. In a nutshell, buy this CD! It's 9 tracks of bliss, baby! Buy it, and you'll be glad you did.
