ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
\"I’m told I’ve been singing since I could talk, so I find it fitting that throughout His Word, God commands His followers to sing His praise. This album traces our musical heritage from the Psalms to an ode from the earliest known Christian songbook of the 1st century church; from the traditional hymnal to contemporary worship music of today. The challenge to record this collection of vastly different styles from many centuries with the authenticity and musical integrity each deserves has been rewarding some of the time, and made me want to pull out all of my hair at other times! But as I prepared each piece and poured over each lyric of praise and worship written across thousands of years, I marveled that the exuberant joy and unspeakable sorrow of God’s people of yesterday are the same as mine today, and our unchanging God continues to pour forth His Grace to those who seek Him. I hope as you listen your soul may be stilled as we journey through ages and rest in the shelter of the Almighty…Sing Allelu!\"
