To Thine be the Glory
author: Cecelia Benefield
The first time I heard Marie Barnes playing the harp, I thought I was in Heaven. I wanted so much to have a copy of this sweet music. That was 10 yrs ago and I am thrilled that I now have my very own CD \"To Thine Be The Glory\". As I listen to these songs that are so soothing to my soul, I know that God has blessed me beyond measure. He gave me ears to hear the sweetest sounds. He gave me His Word to confirm that even in a troubled world, it is well with my soul, that Jesus did pay it all, that His grace is amazing and how truely great He is to those who love Him. Thank you Marie for making this CD to encourage and lift us up. Thank you for sharing your annointed talent. May God richly bless you!!!

I have played this CD at least once each day since I first received it. It is calming, soothing, and relaxing. Somehow, it seems to wash away the day\'s stresses and leave you more spiritually awake. In the last 23 years, I have heard Marie play often and for many different venues. She is amazingly talented, with the harp, of course, but even more with music in general. She touches the keyboards, and her clarinet and her flute and her cello with the same ease and skill that she tunes her harp. Music seems to bubble up from somewhere deep inside of her, a fountain of hope and balm and peace for all who listen, but even more her gift to Heaven each time she plays. She told me once she heard in colors rather than sounds and I have tried to imagine how that could feel to grasp the sounds and notes the way the rest of us pick flowers or gaze at sunsets or look at any beautiful, artistic
thing. Sadly, I cannot experience that but I can imagine it is glorious. Music is her great gift and we are blessed that she has chosen to share it with us. I look forward to hearing her next offering...with longing and anticipation.
