To me this is some kind of small town country music with a cosy feeling. Uplifting banjos but also soft guitars on kissing songs. Marie has strong character in the softer parts, I like how she doesn't overuse it. If it's intentionally I don't know. As those songs are remastered I don't know the sound of the original recordings. Though the remastering seams to have turned out well and the distortion sounds analogue. 12 songs available for sample play so why don't you go a head and listen.

This is a fabulous album from start to finish. It has a real down to earth country feeling with wonderful journey's created by the vocals and lyrics.
