This is perfect for driving long hours in the night. As well as for painting in the bright sunlight on your balcony. Mari has managed to make the best Toto (related) album in years. Even though I don't understand a bit of Japanese, favourite tracks include Take It Easy, the title track Right Now, Pizza Man, Sing For Me, Hope is Floating and I Can't Take It. If you're into the westcoast sound, this one is for you. If you like Frederic Slama's AOR, this one will blow you away. (Unfortunately, I missed out on No Limit. It was out of stock, but it's almost as good as this, but it's rather for dancing around the house and chilling on the couch than driving or painting.)

When you take the musical genius of Mari, and back it with people from Toto - another legendary band, how on Earth can you POSSIBLY go wrong? The backstory on some of the songs is equally interesting. "Right Now" is a very powerful ballad song that will have you moving about to the lyrics, so use caution in moving vehicles! ;-) Every time Mari releases a new CD, you know it just has to be great, because she puts a lot of her own energy into each project. It's a pity every major radio market in the US already hasn't picked up on her music, because it would be a welcome change from the cookie-cutter bands we hear nowadays. If you have not picked this one up yet, DO SO! As with all great Mari music, once it's out of stock, it's VERY hard to find it, so save yourself the trouble and order it......RIGHT NOW!
