Album Notes

Marion LoGuidice's new album God's House delivers incantatory lyrics with both delicacy and power. "Kate Bush but more grounded in the real world," LoGuidice creates an unusual sound -- accessible pop that suddenly "takes left turns into Grimm-dark musical woods," and delivers magic, depth, soul; an archetypal play on the spirit that leaves you filled with hope and gratitude. Her songs are urgent, passionate, and well worth the journey.Produced by Oz Noy-
a guitar wizard from Israel, who started his pro career at the tender age of 13 playing jazz, blues, pop and rock. By age 16, he was already playing with the cream of Israel's musicians, and at age 24, he had already established himself as one of the top studio players. In 1996, he hit the Big Apple making a significant impact on the music scene with his unique sound, combining pop, rock, blues, funk, and jazz into a sound that Guitar One Magazine calls "Jeff Beck meets John Scofield in James Brown’s band."

"Marion is beautifully emotional and poetic - a first rate singer!" Arif Mardin

"Her melodies are hauntingly lyrical; her stories street-wise, passionate and truthful. Her performance kept me on the edge of my seat." Cyndi Lauper

"Marion is an amazing new talent, destined to be a star."

"It has been a long time since I have been struck by the power of what can be communicated through music. Your passion comes through so strongly. I heard you on KGSR in Austin."
Kristin Shelly

"I recently saw Marion perform in a club in Austin. She writes from experience, sings from her heart and performs from her soul. Her voice is unique and distinctive, and as a performer she is absolutely captivating. It's a cliche' to say Marion is one of a kind, but she truly is."
