Marisa Handler is an activist in the global justice and peace movement. Recently, Handler wrote a memoir about her life experience, world travels and activism which I interviewed her about. The title of Handler's book was taken from the song "Loyal to the Sky" on her Dark Spoke's album. Dark Spoke's is a musical extension of Handler's spirit: bluesy and uplifting at the same time.
