Since forming in 2001, Marizen have twice been finalists in the Hard Rock Cafe Battle of the Bands, have become a regular live attraction in Chicago and beyond, and have released three critically acclaimed discs.

Now, entering their third year together, they have worked with noted producer DeWayne Barron (Matchbox 20, Roger Daltry) on their highly anticipated second full-length album, FIELD. The title evokes thoughts of a playing field, which is appropriate, for with this album, Marizen makes the jump from the minor to the major league. Certainly, the music on FIELD is their most accomplished, most enjoyable to date.
