Album Notes

I started public performing in 2008 and made the decision to play my stuff (as opposed to covers). This CD is a set-in-virtual-plastic collection of some of my favorite pieces that I've been performing and I hope you like them, or that you like at least one or two of them and can tolerate the rest. They are (almost) solo works in a very literal sense: my compositions, my arrangements, my playing, my discoveries and mistakes as well. I say "almost" solo because, while I have a sense of ownership and a level of fondness (some more, some less) for each piece, I am counting on an audience (um, that would be you, dear reader) to make some judgment calls. So we are collaborating, you and I. I know what I dearly want you, as audience, to think of this album, but collaborators need to be honest with each other, right? Otherwise, what's the point of working together. So, thanks for collaborating with me on this project, thanks for listening.
