Album Notes

This magnificent album contains music for the Christmas Season on pipe organ composed and performed by Mark Andersen. Mark is an internationally recognized concert artist who has twice won the composer's competition in Amsterdam, Holland for his solo organ works. The pipe organ in this recording is located in Christ Church Episcopal in Cooperstown, NY and was built by the organ firms of Gil Adams and Sid Chase. It is a wonderful example of the true American Classic style of pipe organ building. the album is dedicated to Gary Tannis, long time organist to Christ Church.
