Mwe3 Guitar Magazine writes::
"Cloutier is a guitarist sounding clearly inspired by rock guitar greats like Jimi Hendrix and Johnny Winter as well as more traditional blues, R&B and jazz guitarists as diverse as Buddy Guy, Steve Cropper, Robin Trower and Kenny Burrell. In other words, Cloutier is a guitarist who's not afraid to break through with a hard rock riff before moving on to jazzing things up when he has to."
Nigel Potter Review::
You're a firey blue.
It's like even when you play mellow,you are just waiting for the fireworks to go off.
And I'll tell you this,life on the road has SO sharpened your playing mate.
You get road hardened,almost numb sometimes,but man it does one of two things...
Burns you out,or sets you up for life.
Just listening to you playing,blending the tones and power, it's sorted you out big time.
Well it seems to me that all that hardwork has already paid off,and because you have put in the hardwork,your playing has really took off big time,and that will only add to your chances of making that break,and I still believe with complete conviction it should happen.
Just one mate's thoughts to another.
Superb.

Blues Lion Blues
Mark Cloutier (started playing guitar at 14 years old and has been playing for 30 years now.) and his guitar work will send shivers down your spine. He can play it fast and hot or slow and tense ... and is a guitarist making waves in the music world. The evolution of a blue's guitar player who immerses himself totally in his craft is a beautiful thing. "Sometimes it feels like a black cat crossed my path. Sometimes it feels like I got a target on my back." speaks directly to Mark's style. This departure from his Double Barrel Blues Band project is a rewarding experience. All of us here, want to hear more of Mark Cloutier and that Blues Lion roar.
