"Stop the Madness" is Mark Cook's 4th CD release. All 3 previous releases have won "Best Album of the Year" award from the JPFolks Music Awards - for 2001, 2002, and 2006. As well as "Best Rock Instrumental of 2006" from the title track "Blue Voodoo." Cook has had songs featured on such TV shows as TNT's "Saving Grace" starring Holly Hunter, and primetime TV hit show "Without A Trace." Other song placements include movies such as the 2007 release of "Buried Alive" starring Tobin Bell.
"Stop the Madness" CD is exploring a different side of Cook's songwriting ability - this time featuring more of his guitar skills in a primarily guitar driven rock instrumental CD - in the styles of Satriani, Moore, Malmsteen, Beck,as well as some guitar drivin' rocking blues!
