Album Notes

Mark has been working / surviving as a solo musician in Sydney, Australia, for over 20yrs, performing on his own handmade celtic harps, & also renaissance & baroque lutes, theorbo & vihuela de mano, classical / flamenco guitar & flute.
"A Buskers Alms" is a new re recording of his first CD, with some flute mixed in with the harp, & new tracks & compositions added (listen to new tracks below).
The title track was inspired by the many times it is necessary to go busking to keep living expenses paid, & work coming in - & the many times buskers are unreasonably & forcibly removed by people in positions of authority, from places where the public & shopkeepers are quite open about their appreciation of quality relaxing music provided for free in an ever maddening city environment.
Mark would like to take this opportunity to thank the many kind people who have supported him for over 20 years as he has practiced & given his art to Sydneys early morning commuters, for whatever alms might be received.
You have helped him, as he hopes he has helped you.
