After two years of production, Kristin Markiton's debut CD Wandering Moon was finally released on Sunday, February 26th at an extrodinary sold-out show at Eddie's Attic in Decatur, GA. The CD features Kristin performing songs written by a number of talented songwriters, including Ellis Paul, John Austin, Andrew Hyra, Bill Sheffield, Walter Sorrells, Kristian Bush and herself. The CD was produced by Kristian Bush, Kevin Leahy, John Shoffner and Kristin, and includes performances by Kristian Bush (Sugarland) on guitar, mandolin and vocals, Kevin Leahy (Shawn Mullins, The Bodeans...)on drums and percussion, Mark Van Allen (Blueground Undergrass) on pedal steel and dobro, David Labruyere (John Mayer's band) on bass, Brandon Bush (Train) on piano and organ, Scott Patton (Sugarland) on guitar, John Shoffner (A Few Degrees)on guitar,Rob Henson (Telegram) on bass, and Jan Smith & Gwen Hughes on backup vocals.
Kristin's sweet, soulful, sometimes sultry voice lilts above this all-star cast of Atlanta area musicians, delivering the emotion of these well-crafted songs of love lost & love found.
Kristin is also the female vocalist for the Atlanta based Deltabilly/blues/rock band Delta Moon. Kristin's first record with that band, "Howling" has been given rave reviews and is receiving airplay on XM-Radio and many other national and international radio programs. That CD is also available for purchase here at CDBaby.

Worth the Wait!
author: debra
Two years in the making, two years of waiting...and it IS worth the wait! Each song is incredible, there should be a longer pause between each one to allow time to recover from the impact. Well done!
