Album Notes

“I was laying in bed, trying to understand where I went wrong…as my friend half asleep mumbled, you know I’m broken.” Thoughts like these capture Los Angeles in 2006 for Mark Lennon. Putting out his follow up EP, Broken explores mark’s experiences in a plain language that is easy for everybody to relate to. With the help of friends he creates a self-produced album that has some really great folkie instrumental flourishes and is busting with poetic heartfelt lyrics.

Mark Lennon's - "Broken" will take you places you've only imagined!
author: Nick Wreck (2007)
When I listen to this CD it immediately takes me to a small town with rolling hills, quiet streams and a place of peace. Mark Lennon's voice, vivid lyrics and sweeping instrumentation adds so much to an average hectic day of the hustle and bustle in Los Angeles. This CD is a perfect blend of clever lyrics over catchy melodies and instrumentation. I recommend it for fans of quality songwriting, pedal steel and a desire to let music take them to a place they've only imagined. So pack your bags and get ready to ride. Key Track - "Pony Express (Revisited)"
