Album Notes

Mark and Mike blend offbeat humor, impeccable timing and great playing into one of country music's funniest new acts. "We like to think", they claim, "that we're what Homer and Jethro could've become had they lived to see 'Dumb and Dumber".

'Mark' is Mark Horn, best known to country music fans as the longtime drummer of the Derailers. Nashville music writer, Bill Friskics-Warren says, "Few drummers play with Horn's sense of groove and fewer still possess his devastating sense of humor.

"I've been playing banjo for a long time,"says Mark, "so I'm used to people laughing at me. At least, this time, it's on purpose.

'Mike' is Mike Granda, founding member of eclectic country-rock pioneers, the Ozark Mountain Daredevils. Know to much of the world as 'Supe duJour', this talented multi-instrumentalist is no stranger to the comic form, having performed through the years with a psychedelic polka band, the Garbonzo, as well as continuing to front the hilarious, Supe & the Sandwiches.

The two say, "We just want to do for country music what Slim Pickens did for the American cinema."
