Gracenote was born from the inspirational life of Grandma Lilah. Jennifer Schafer, poet, wife and mother of four, scripted this emotional tribute after the passing of her Grandmother. She wanted to express her gratitude and thanks for what Grandma Lilah had gifted both family and friends. Putting these emotions to paper was only the first step. Jennifer turned to her friend and musician / songwriter Mark Schettler to craft the music and sing the words that would capture the essence of this heartfelt tribute. Mark, knowing both Jennifer and Grandma Lilah, understood exactly the feeling and power that needed to come from this piece. The music had to flow with emotion and blend with the lyrics. Mark and Jennifer both feel that the spirit of Lilah has been captured in Gracenote.
