Those familiar with Mark "The Marksman" Baranowski tend to call him a "Jack of all Trades," or an "all-purpose artiste," and with good reason. He's been a sketch artist and musician for over 15 years, an author-screenwriter for nearly seven, and since September 2001, he's produced, directed and starred in seven independent films. Mark states, "It's my impatience that makes me so efficient... I can't wait to finish one project, so I can jump right into another."

Born in the heart of Buffalo NY in 1974, Mark's desire to express himself creatively began in the late 1980's, while he was obsessed with rap music. He wrote his own songs, then eventually recorded them in his small home studio. He and a close friend formed their own record label, Nickel City Records, in 1997. It was then that Mark finally began releasing his own music. He would self-distribute numerous CDs in several genres of music from that point until December 2005, when he returned to his hip-hop roots and released his strongest rap album yet - READY FOR ACTION.

This time around, Mark touches upon sex, violence, politics, racism, unity, and much more. Coupled with a slew of new "block rockin'" beats and the captivating imagery of stunning cover model Sofiya Smirnova, THE REASON I PUT THIS TOGETHER is sure to heat up the cold winter months ahead...
