In a way it's a shame this album is in the “Christian” category, not because lyrically it isn't biblical without a doubt it is, in fact in that way it is full of wisdom and praise, love and glory and is an album so worshipful it's almost impossible to not worship while you listen to it. I talk about categories because it means so many people will never get to hear it, in so many ways the music seems to be reaching out from inside the church walls for the lost, the very honey like tones used seem to be weeping with those who weep, there's healing in the music, a gentleness and a strength. But much like the melancholy of a spectacular sunset the sadness is filled with so much beauty it's hard to comprehend, hard to contain in a heart bursting with joy.
 
This album has something special going on, something you can't put your figure on but something very   present. Could it be the presence of the Holy Spirit? Yes I believe it could, somehow captured here in the music by men who are filled with the same. Have I said enough? Yeah I think so. If somehow you've found yourself here without knowing who Mark White is, you've stumbled upon a gem, do yourself a favor and buy the album, if you're anything like me you'll wear it out and have to buy a second copy!

In many of today’s churches, when Worship and Art are brought together, it is like worlds colliding in the bleakness of the cosmos. Most observers simply watch in awe, left immobile - without any means of participation. I find that queer and quite sad as I consider the soulful mourning in many of David’s Psalms. Words Fall Short is an Artistic invitation to Worship and Praise. An invitation that mature listeners, regardless of depth in life experience, will find accessible. For myself, I found a haunting thread of emotional angst weaving through the songs. Yet, as with David’s lyrics, I found victory reached as God is adored. Mark's lyrics and music take the listener to a place of Safety and Love. I believe this CD is perfect to give to anyone who seeks the authentic and genuine God of the Universe – a God who knows our deepest pains and hurts – and wants us to come to Him for healing and completion. I have known Mark for more than 20 years and one thing that remains consistent and true is Mark's love for our Lord -- Jesus the Christ. It is so evident in this CD. What you see and hear is who Mark is. Thanks Mark for following your heart and putting this CD into existence. You go big man! Thanks also for bringing me into the presence of the Lord right along side of you. Keep the worship coming!!!!

I have had the pleasure of playing with and getting to know Mark White the past three years he has been the worship leader at my church. This collection of songs truly reflects the passion that he has for worship but more than that it spotlights the strength of his love and faithfulness for the Lord.
