Album Notes

These pieces are more poem than song. Stream of consciousness rants that dance around a melodic center, they never fully commit to anything as structured as a chord progression or melody. Sounds come in and out of focus, begging the listener to follow a developing melodic line, only to disappear around a corner, or devolve into reverb-drenched mayhem.

Most of the sounds were made with a distorted electric guitar. Layers of them, in fact. Like a sonic lasagna. The occasional drum loop, synth line, or vocal sample appears on a couple of the tracks.
