Album Notes

I was born in NYC, then moved pretty much every year or two - to new towns, cities and countries. Finally, at fifteen I came back to New York City. I was immersed in the world of music before I could talk - peering in at the madness around me. I literally learned to walk in the halls and session rooms of the Electric Lady Recording Studios. I got my allowance from the pin ball machines at the Record Plant in LA. During this time I saw a lot of weird stuff, heard some amazing music, learning to make up my own songs to navigate through it all.

Somehow, it took me until now to actually step up to the mic and step up as a singer/songwriter. I just wrapped up recording my first album, entitled Blind Pony, which was produced by Stuffy Shmitt and engineered by Martin Bisi at BC Studios in Brooklyn. All the tracks were recorded at BC Studios.

Over the past two years I have performed for some great crowds at various NYC venues, including Joe's Pub and Fez. I have had the opportunity to play with many incredible musicians who have stretched me, touched me, and made me realize I am finally living the way I want. The following is just a short list of the superb musicians that I have been lucky enough to play and sing with: Jay Bellerose, Chris Bruce, Mark Brotter, Jennifer Condos, Omar Hakim, Dave Palmer, Catherine Popper, Stuffy Shmitt, Premik Russell Tubbs, and last but not least, the musician who gave me the need to play piano - Betty Smack.
