Marlon Simon and the nagual spirits have been in existence since 1997. The power of this music has taken Marlon Simon to perform for audiences from USA, Australia, Canada , Poland , France , South America and the Netherland Antilles. The Nagual Spirits have released three cds, the music of Marlon Simon for K-jazz records. Rumba a la Patato for Ubiquity records and Live in Bolivia for Intrigue records. In the year 2003 the nagual spirits were selected by the US department of State to present international concerts representing the vitality , integrity and excellence of musical art forms born in The US in this case : Latin Jazz. Live in La Paz Bolivia was recorded at the Municipal teather of La Paz on November 2003. This cd captures magical moments that can be recorded only during a live performance, letting the music go to any direction it asks for and performed by musicians that dedicated their careers to understand both languages: Latin and Jazz.
Marlon Simon is a international renown Latin Jazz composer, percussionist and educator who has received many awards and performed with the most prestigious musicians of the Latin Jazz industry.
This CD is a must for any seroius Latin Jazz listener.

Welll,,,, im not writing about the CD I am a student at A M kulp elemantary and he came and tought us about latin jazz. I played the cowbell and the conga it was really fun.... his music is great!!!THANKS!!!!!!
