Marlyn Sanchez, A stunning, lyrical soprano and traditional pop vocalist renowned by her audience for her sensuous voice, stylistic versatility has released her debut Christmas CD entitled, "In the Spirit Of Christmas." She has been performing her album in events and private parties all over the county entertaining prominent figures and entertainers, such as Alejandro Sanz, Paulina Rubio, Romeo Britto, and Gloria Estefan.

Marlyn most recently was seen in a six month performance of RESPECT, A Musical Journey of Woman in the historic Gem Theatre in Detroit MI. where she had the opportunity to work with three time Tony Award winning actor and choreographer Hinton Battle. Marlyn is currently working on original material for her upcoming album and can be seen performing all over South Florida. Her mission is to deliver an encouraging, positive, but thought provoking message to the public through her music, image, and projects. Her latest accomplishment was traveling oversees to Egypt where she represented Miss Cuba for The Top Model of the World Competition in January 2008. She was announced as The Most Talented Top Model of the World where she won the Talent Portion of the competition and impressed former Platter singer Keith Tynes with her vocal ability and also placed among the Top 15 delegates to compete for the title. Currently, Marlyn holds the title of Miss Caribbean 2008. Marlyn will be traveling internationally to represent her platform, Make A Wish Foundation, and also bring awareness to the beauty of the Cuban culture and its heritage, minus the politics. Marlyn was inspired to record her favorite Christmas songs. She collabrated with the Phil Hinton Trio to create original arrangements of these timeless melodies. She performed all around South Florida in holiday functions including Jazziz Bistro at The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. The immediate success of the album has launched her to pursue an original debut album that is currently production. Marlyn Sanchez is very excited to continue her dream of recording and performing for audiences everywhere. She believes that music is the quintessential connection of human emotion and spirit.
