Album Notes

August 14th 2008, Stephen Stills, of Crosby Stills and Nash, announced Marnée to the stage. Stephen and John Mellencamp had just performed before introducing Marnée for the grand opening of the Indianapolis Colts new home, the Lucas Oil Stadium. The largest retractable roof in the world officially opened for the first time to the no nonsense voice and unbelievable guitar work of Marnée. The crowd gave her a standing ovation as they watched in awe........Marnée was 11 years old!

Balancing a busy schedule consisting of on air radio interviews/performances, weekly studio sessions, rehearsals with her band, a straight A report card, and live television recordings, she always keeps the creative writing process first in mind.

Finding her place in the mix, Marnée is now joined on stage, and on her debut album by musicians with very diverse musical backgrounds. With Lance Hoeppner turning the keys, Jake Vachon playing the four string electric bass, Rick Kinney behind the drums, and Felix Moxter moving the Viola, this group of experienced musicians is like an even keeled ship of Vikings sailing their young leader to free the people from their own minds.

Marnee's When There's Gravity

I have been listening and watching Marnee on the Internet for 2 years or longer. She was very good even at ten years old then, but has since grown to be an amazing artist. When you consider her singing/playing/songwriting talent combination, she just may be the most talented preteen girl on the planet!
