Jeanette Marno was born Jeanette Smith in Newark, New Jersey to a family of talented musicians and vocalists. As a child, Jeanette grew up singing at the kitchen table, vocalizing and harmonizing with her sisters; while her mother, Della Smith, guided the girls to sing with their hearts and with a passion for God. Jeanette developed her stage skills and vocal range by performing with her sisters at churches, nursing homes and local prisons using worship music as an outreach to the faithful, forgotten and fallen. This gifted singer/vocalist toured Austria and Italy with popular Gospel Singer, Theresa Thomason, in a stage production of "The Sisters" loosely based on the Sister Act movies. Jeanette also performed with Dream Theater, a progressive metal band on CD, "Scenes from a Memory".

This song is a tribute to Jeanette's mother, Della Smith and baby sister, Mary. Both left this earth much too soon and continue their lives in Heaven. The song was written by Jeanette's brother, Hasan Smith and produced by her husband Joe Marno.
