Marquiet Pettis, blessed with the gift of music, has been driven to succeed in the music business for years. With his rich, sultry tone and unique timbre, he has set himself apart from any other R&B artist of today. His music can take you from the club to the bedroom, and all the while will have you so interested that the CD will not seem long enough. From beginning to end you will be on a ride that will take you through some drama, good times, and be a mirror so that you can go through some self-realization. What else can I say? His music is his life embedded in song.
In 2003 Marquiet met up and coming producers The Globetrakkers. Combined with Marquiet's voice a beautiful and distinguishing sound was created. Since this meeting a whole camp has been created in the form of Red Label Music Group. Other featured artists include Voreheez and Panama Red from Atlanta, GA. In the process of grinding for the past few years Marquiet has had the pleasure of making many established contacts including EZ Elpee (producer of "Oochie Wally" and "Special Delivery" from Bad Boy Ent.)and The Nappy Roots.
Marquiet is currently doing shows and in the studio working on his next LP. With great music and touching lyrics there is no boundary that can contain his potential success.
