Gray Dayz - Single

by Mars

This song transports the listener from a cold grey winters day to one of warmth, light and sun. The method of transport is melody. Wonderful synths and meaningful lyrics provide a path through impenetrable clouds to the bright blue skies above...

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This song was produced on a cold grey December day. I look outside my window and feel the silent gentle oppression that so often accompanies London days. It never fully gets light. Mid-winter we know we have another 3 months before we'll see the sun, and the grey seems here to stay.
But I'm an impatient girl and always have been. 3 months is just too long for me to wait. I'm latina-african. Born in southern Europe, raised in southern Africa. And I miss home...

So I turn to my studio:
Nothing fancy - a keyboard, a synth, a mic, and some sweet vocal effects.

I turn to my feelings:
Warm blood and a bright mind - I know exactly where I want to be right now. I write this song as a vehicle to transport me south, south to where I find the sun in its full glory, and the sky a beautiful blue.

And now I turn to you:
Do you wanna come too??

Love
Mars xx
