Having grown up in church all my life and being a musician at a young age, my love for Gospel was established at a very young age.
I wrote my first song at the age of seventeen and have written a lot of tunes since that time. It seemed like when there was a special occasion, a new song was written.
I grew up in a Christian family where Mom and Dad raised us four children to love God. We were all very musical and spent a lot of time around the piano at family gatherings and holidays. We sang in church and my sister and I accompanied our parents for many years on the keyboard.
I have served with my husband in the ministry for many years now and continue to enjoy the Lord's work and serving his people. In my particular case, God has put his song in my heart and it must be sung!
The digital music progression in the technical area has made my life very interesting in the last few years. I produced all the background music for the album on my Roland XP80. I only wish that someone had invented all of this 20 years ago!
One song, Fifty Years Ago, has almost become a standard for many. It is a love song written for my grand parents on the occasion of their fiftieth anniversary. In 2002, my own parents celebrate their fiftieth and it was used. Many others have sung it and finally it was released in 2000. Since that time, it has been used with full orchestration on CD and tape. Soundtracks are also available.
Another song on this album is a lovely Christian 25th anniversary song I wrote for my husband, David. It's title, Our Love is Like a Rose, pretty much describes what the lyrics might be.
Robe of White has turned out to be a favorite for many people. This is a story song about my grandmother who went to heaven a few years ago. She was a valiant Christian woman who always wanted to do right and love God. You've got to listen to the words of this song! This song is pure country.
I trust this album will touch your heart! I'm the writer and I can tell you that it has touched mine!

Okay. I listened and thought I'd give it a try. I liked the rose on the cover. Wow, truly a blend of sounds and songs. I like the way the style of music matches the lyrics. Sounds so personable, like I already know the artist. I would definately buy this album.
