Two of the world’s greatest mandolin players, each from a different musical and geographical background, join forces in a collaboration that is abundant in style and texture. Mike Marshall has built bridges with mandolinists from around the world, from his early days with the David Grisman Quintet to his now famous CDs with American whiz kid Chris Thile and Brazilian phenomenon Hamilton de Holanda, to his work with many of the great instrumentalists of our time, including Joshua Bell, Bela Fleck and Edgar Meyer. Now, on his first collaboration with Caterina Lichtenberg, one of the finest classical virtuosi in the world today, Mike continues
to redefine acoustic music.
