Beautiful from start to finish. I discovered Marta on NPR and have listened ever since. I have turned several friends onto her and we are all hypnotized by her voice, her rhythms, and her lyrics. Remarkable CD. Please come to L.A., Marta!

Dear Marta,
The last time I wrote to you was like 3yrs ago. I told you that your music keeps my family together and looking for a brighter future. My husband still in a vegetative state and is going to be 8 yrs now. When your new cd came out the whole family could not wait for me to get it. Thank you for your voice of an angel and your music that inspired families like us. Thank you for answering my e-mail last time it takes a good person to take a little time to answered an e-mail from a fan. Like I asked you before don't stop singing because we our hearts sings with you.
Laura and family.

Throughout the rest of the tracks, you hear an innate joy, freedom, and a fierce, fundamental connection to her native country (Colombia) and its people. As always, the stellar contribution of Franco Pinna, her co-producer, on percussion, provides a perfect yang to her yin.
