Album Notes

³A Change Is Coming² represents a major leap for singer/songwriter LeRoy
Bell. Not only has he grown as a touring artist, but also the experience has
given his music an edge that places him into league of performers creating a
sound that crosses many demographics. Taking a cue from his roots, the soul
and R&B styles incorporated into ³Change² plays out on the contemporary
musical field.

The reception to LeRoy's music has been spectacular. He has performed with
B.B. King, Etta James, Al Green, Paolo Nutini, India.Arie, Erykah Badu,
LeAnne Rimes, Colin Hay, Mavis Staples, Keb Mo, Taj Mahal, Leon Russell,
Sonny Landreth, Charlie Musselwhite, Los Lobos. He¹s played the Portland
Waterfront Blues Festival, The San Jose Jazz Festival, The Vancouver Island
Music Festival, and The Coldsnap Festival.

LeRoy was personally invited by B.B. King to open for his at his Oct 15,
2007 historic return to The Filmore Auditorium in San Francisco.

In 2008 LeRoy has several feature radio broadcasts planned for SIRIUS, and
XM satellite radio, and Beale Street Caravan in conjunction with the release
of the new CD A Change Is Coming. His music gets heavy in-store at Starbucks
worldwide thanks to great support from PlayNetwork.

The Bell family legacy extended from Philly to Seattle when Thom Bell,
LeRoy's uncle and third member of
Mighty Three Music (along with Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff) opened up the
west coast offices of Mighty Three
Music in the late 70's. As a young staff writer LeRoy teamed with Casey
James and wrote songs that would be recorded by The Spinners, The O'Jays,
The Temptations, Rita Marley and most notably Elton John.

³Mama Can't Buy Me Love², from the ³Thom Bell Sessions², went to #9 pop, #36
R&B, and #1 AC in the fall of 1979. Earning John a Grammy Nomination for
Best Male R&B Vocal Performance. That same year Bell and James had their own
million-seller with "Livin It Up (Friday Night)" on A&M Records.

2003 brought new life for LeRoy as the Fat Boy Slim mix of Elton's "Are You
Ready For Love", reached #1 in England and most of Europe.

LeRoy reinvented himself emerging as a singer/songwriter releasing on his
own label Martez Music the acclaimed EP Spending Time, selling over 15,000
copies, and the 2006 release of his first full length CD Two Sides To Every
Story, receiving rave reviews, bringing to light social issues, concerns and
compassion for all. With the hopes of youth, love, lost love, and optimism
for humanit

Last summer I watched your band open for B.B. King, you weren't even through the first song and I was so diggin it. I bought this CD and you autographed it for me. A Change is Coming takes me to "back in the day", you know, the 70's, even though it is right here and now today. I have turned all of my friends onto your work, they all love you. Keep it comin' LeRoy. Thanks, Sherry

We first saw LeRoy Bell perform in Prince George, British Columbia at the Cold Snap music festival and we were literally blown away. The 2 Sides to Every Story quickly became our most played CD of 2008 and so we were eagerly awaiting the latest CD. I must say that A Change is Coming is fantastic!! I was unsure how LeRoy could 'change' it up without losing the magic but this is what makes new music so wonderful as this latest CD has made us even bigger fans. Thanks LeRoy.

He leaves me wanting more!

The first time I heard Leroy Bell, I waspurchasing a pair of shoes @ Nordstrom and he was playing, for a promotion. I ended up staying and watching him for almost an hour. His sound and lyrics pulled me in. His message is so personal, but yet something so many can relate to. When I play his CD, my mood instantly picks up and everything seem 100% better. This is his 3rd CD I've purchased, and can't wait to see and hear him soon.

I didn't think I could like a cd anymore than two sides to every story..but I love a change is coming and everytime I play it I find a new favorite. My husband and I came to find this music by accident while attending a concert in which LeRoy Bell was the opening act. We left with a signed cd and from then we have traveled the state of Oregon to catch as many shows as possible...5 so far! Awesome sound and stories.....
