Martha Clancy; A Hundred Thousand Welcomes - Celtic Harp CD
Favorite traditional tunes played on Celtic harp, flute, guitar, violin and percussion including Irish set dances ,jigs, reels and hornpipes as well as slow airs. Music of Ireland , Scotland , Wales and America played beautifully on the harp and various instruments loved by all ages. Welcome your guests with this warm wonderful music.
Martha Clancy has won international recognition for her harp playing. She won the All-Ireland Harp Championship and the U.S. Championship of the Scottish harp in the same year, the only American to have held both titles. Clancy has also been a musical director at the famous Walnut Street Theater in Philadelphia. She has produced four harp/ ensemble CDs and has been guest artist on numerous others. Her recordings have been featured on QVC network and she has had many television and stage performances. Martha's arrangements have been published internationally.
