Album Notes

The husband-wife team Rob & Jen Slocumb started Martha\'s Trouble in 1998 in Houston, TX. Since then, they have self-released 8 albums on their own indie label, Aisling Records. Lived in a camper van for 2 years. Have played shows all over the US, Canada, and couple stints to Barcelona, Spain. Have had several TV & Film placements as well as national radio play including XM Satellite Radio.

In 2005 the duo began a 2 year maternity leave to have a two children.

It\'s been 4 years since their last release, Forget October (2004), and Martha\'s Trouble is back set to release a NEW EP with a few additional band mates.

This EP is a collection of 6 songs, 5 New, 1 re-mixed.

This album was recorded in Asheville, NC over a 3 day weekend in February. Most of what you hear on the record was recorded live in the studio.

This EP sounds very different from the previous MT offerings as they now have a full backing band. The new sound works well and and Jen's voice is on sparkling form. Thoroughly recommended.
