THE MARTINI SHOT is a cover and original six-piece Pop-Rock Band based out of Southern Colorado. Major influences of band are Barenaked Ladies, Reel Big Fish, and 311. The Martini Shot has released three original projects including their first self-titled album, "The Martini Shot," their sophomore album "Dry & Dirty," and the latest album, "Skakin' and Stirred." The Martini Shot performs nearly every weekend throughout the year and was voted the "2009 Best Cover Band" and the "2006 Best Original and Cover Band" by readers of the Colorado Springs Independent. They typically provide a large draw when playing a local club and are staples at local festivals and event series. The Martini Shot is also in high demand for weddings and private events. The band was established in 2000 and most of the members are local music teachers. The name, "Martini Shot," refers to the Hollywood slang term for the last shoot of the day.
