Album Notes

The Martini Shot is an original six-piece pop rock band with horns based out of Southern Colorado. Major influences of band are Barenaked Ladies, Reel Big Fish, and 311. The Martini Shot has released three original projects and have been fortunate enough to have sold two thousand copies of their first self-titled album, while the second album, "Dry & Dirty," has sold over four thousand copies since its release in 2005. Their latest album, "Skakin' and Stirred," was released in January, 2008. The Martini Shot performs nearly every weekend throughout year and was voted the "2006 Best Original and Cover Band” by readers of the Colorado Springs Independent. They typically draw 300-500 people when playing a local club and 1000-5000 people at local festivals and event series. The band was established in 2000 and most of the members are local music teachers. The name, "Martini Shot," refers to the Hollywood slang term for the last shoot of the day.

The Martini Shot is: Andy Clementi-vocals/guitar, Ryan Walter-lead guitar, Brian Person-trumpet, Rob Smith-sax/keyboards, Brook Mead-bass, Greg Trujillo-drums.

I am continually surprised by the talent that powers this group. Not only do they completely rock the folks that get to experience them live, but they translate the lively energy that defines their shows into albums that are catchy, well-written and extremely enjoyable. Lyrically strong, musically complex and progressive, with a sense of humor that rounds out both their shows and their albums. Martini Shot. Enjoy!
