Album Notes

Martin Lund, one of the most diverse musicians in the universe lives and breathes music in many different colors and cultures. He has played with some of the great blues artists of our time and worked in the studios of LA as a composer, arranger and musician with artists like Mel Torme to Isacc Hayes. His eclectic background has allowed him to move freely through any style of music from classical to rock and from jazz to broadway. He is equally adept at clarinet, saxophone, flute and piano.
This particular album was done on a Saturday afternoon by myself and some of the most gifted musicians that I know and perhaps others know in LA. It is live and it is eclectic which means don't just listen to one track as it may not be for you but I'll bet that something will speak to your fancy.
It was such a joy to play live with Alex Acuna ( Weather Report/Birdland) Mike Miller (Mothers of Invention), Tim Landers, Mitch Forman, Larry Cohn, Art Rodriguez and wild man Ray Pizzi (jazz bassoonist/saxist) in a spontaneous setting. As the musician's union bumper sticker says, "live music is best."
