Ace power pop and more
author: Neil Sidebotham
Marty has that sunkissed powerpop sound down. The originals are catchy and memorable while the covers of the Everly Brother\'s \"Bowling Green\", the Hollies/Monkees \"Yes I will\" (labelled \"I will be true\" - see the first Monkees album) are well chosen and sound great. Recommended to Rubinoos and Brian Wilson fans.

Marty nails it!!!!
author: Mitch Schecter - Guitarist With The Rip Chords
Marty has created an album that perfectly captures the California sound and feeling.
Before you even listen to the music on this CD, you are treated to a 60's Capitol Records style album cover, and swirl label, which Marty has cleverly changed the color of. But if you bought records in the 60's, especially Beach Boys and Beatles records, then you will recognize the label.
And the music is a perfect blend of California/American 60's pop, with a hint of the Mersey Beat Sound thrown in.
Marty has crafted one great CD.
If you are a 60s pop music fan, or a pop music fan in general, this CD is a must have!

Positive, catchy, heartfelt and harmonious music for the soul
author: John Hunter Phillips
Starting off with his infectious pop beauty, Some Summer ... a great nod to the harmoniuos genius of the Beach Boys at their light-hearted best, and rounding off with On My Way Home ... sure-fire proof that he has been influenced by McCartney and Lennon, my ears revel in the unabashed celebration of life which Marty reveals in this fabulous CD. Hints of 'Top 40' from the 60's, coupled with his own fresh imaginative vocals , melodic writing skills, arrangements and production style (kudos to Michael Carpenter), this entire collection of songs will keep your mind at the beach 365 days a year ! It's unpretencious and yet solid. We all need more Marty Rudnick music in our lives. I know I did. Thanks, Marty. !! JHP
