MaryBeth Maes , formerly MaryBeth Linehan is a very well known and highly sought after female singer songwriter from the Boston Area. She began receiving attention ... a lot of attention during her attendance at Woburn High School for her pure, powerful and captivating voice as well as her tremendous stage presence.
After high School, MB fronted some of the Area's most popular bands ... Onyx, Reaction and Mixed Nuts, giving audiences heartfelt and memorable performances on every stage she stepped on.
In the late nineties she joined up with "Fortune" band members in a project call "5 Easy Pieces" which continued to solidify her prowess as a formidable front person who is known to "Bring It."
A couple of years later, MB joined up with former "Boston" band members, Brad Delp and Barry Goudreau to join the band "RTZ" along with husband, Keyboardist/Vocalist Brian Maes, Bassist, Tim Archibald, Drummer, David Stefanelli and vocalists, Lisa Guyer and Patty Barkas.
MB holds the distinction of being one of Brad Delp's Favorite singers. You will find many of these musicians featured on this collection of MB's songs as well as many other great players who were thrilled to be a part of this great effort and first full length solo CD from MaryBeth Maes.
