Album Notes

"'Call the Nations' is a somewhat eclectic album in musical style. There are Messianic songs and a song in both Spanish and English. There are powerful rock-sounding praise songs and reflective, intimate worship songs. There are songs which are testimonial and songs that cry out to God. I wanted to bring "church" to the album instead of expecting a person to "do church."

It begins with an invocation, and testimonial songs, and ends with a benediction and a psalm/prayer to God for a blessing, but is far from "churchy." My heart is for all nations to know Jesus Christ and my prayer is that each individual who listens to "Call the Nations" will be blessed, encouraged and uplifted as they lift up the name of Jesus along with me."

Mary Dolan has been writing songs since she was a teenager, but has been writing songs for the Lord since 1995. Her gift
as a psalmist brings the listener along on a spiritual journey to deep intimacy with God.

Mary's lyrics depict with great transparency the struggles on the journey: suffering loss, being broken-hearted, yearning for unconditional love and acceptance, and the battle to stand our ground in the midst of spiritual warfare.

Mary then proclaims the transforming power of God's Word and of God's love. The annointed melodies exhort us further into the Inner Court where we receive deliverance, healing, hope and invite fellowship with the King of Glory.
