Album Notes

CONSOLE, the anticipated follow-up to A SMILE IN THE MIND, is another trip up the 1970s pop-music timeline, and the second solo studio release by Mary Edwards. It's filled with the infectious rhythms of an era gone by: Influenced by Brian Auger, Chic, Laura Nyro, Chicago, Steely Dan, and even such contemporaries as Zero 7, Mary's new work reflects a pastoral soulfulness of her native New York...as well as other cities like L.A., San Francisco, London and Philadelphia, for which she carries on a true geographical love affair.
