Album Notes

Back in the 60's, I performed with The All Night Singers.
We played The Blue Angel, Gerde's Folk City, and toured the East Coast after releasing our Reprise album. Since retiring from many years of teaching public school music, I decided to get back to performing, and to fulfill my dream of recording a solo album. I have included on this CD classic pop ballads, covers of singer/songwriters I have long admired, traditional songs, and new songs of Patrick Karwan, whose original works I want to share with others. I am so very happy to be performing again, doing concerts, and intimate coffee houses.

"Mary Lutton's performances transcend the ordinary; they are not what one expects in a local setting. Mary is polished; her elegant style lifts you from a coffee house, and sets you down gently in a concert hall. Her music draws you in; you find yourself captivated by her guitar, and focused on the words of her song...." Joe Wills, Host, WBZC
