An April 2009 note from Mary:
In the summer and fall of 2008, I ventured into the world of composition, which resulted in my third cd, "To Vermont With Love." It includes songs in different styles, and keyboard pieces which describe emotions, and an appreciation for what Mother Nature offers. I continue to perform for charity events, at open mikes where social contact with my fellow performers is cherished. And I manage to stay physically fit at my mature age by being my own roadie.

"To Vermont with Love"
author: Roy Everett
I wholeheartedly recommend "To Vermont with Love." There is an underlying emotional sincerity running through this excellent recording which transcends any ordinary work. From the exquisite packaging to the entirely original musical content, the album is like a breath of fresh Vermont air.
Not unlike the picturesque streams and rivers of Vermont, the musical compositions possess a beautiful and distinctive melodic flow. I found the mesmerizing lyrics to range from the deeply romantic to expressing the composer's longing and love of the natural beauty of the Vermont countryside.
The "Lake Champlain Suite" is truly outstanding. It effortlessly inspires one to sense the bucolic atmosphere of this magnificent lake and its surroundings. I believe that it would make a wonderful soundtrack for a motion picture about the region. This is an extraordinary recording which one will wish to repeatedly play.
